DOUBLE PLEASURE
HAHA! So Wednesday afternoon when I got home there was a big box on my doorstep. WTF? I open it and its full of loose paper, at the bottom a wrapped box and a card. I'm sitting at the kitchen table talking to my MOM about something slowly opening the present. I started on the end and peeked in and saw "VANS." I'm thinking cool, CROSS bought me Vans. Still talking to my MOM about my frustrations with 2 people at work, I finally get to lifting the paper off the top of the box and read MARC JACOBS. I stopped speaking, then OMG! My MOM is like what? And I'm like he bought me the MARC JACOBS VANS.
So the next day I get into work and there's a green gift bag on my desk from MERCEDES. I go and ask her if she wasn't me to open it now of later. She says now since she wont be here Friday, so I pull out some tissue talking to her and pull out a box wrapped in tissue, I read through the tissue MARC JACOBS. I immediately ask if its the blue with polka dots. She replies, you hate them huh? Then I tell her I got them the same day. So no I have 2 pairs of the same shoes, I'm possibly going to exchange a pair for another print, I haven't fully decided on which ones.
Yesterday I went to Shampoo Lounge to see KRISTIN and RACHEL. I wasn't fully sure what to do with my hair when I made my apt. At first I said just a trim, but the night before I thought about dying my hair black. It's my natural hair color, and it hasn't been black since like Jr High. So KRISTIN was like dark brown, or black black and I'm like black black. It's super black, it's kinda weird looking into the mirror. I don't feel like I'm staring into myself or like I'm staring at the evil version of myself. But it was like that when I went blond, I could look in the mirror for like 2 weeks. It was such a drastic change that took some getting used too.
After that I went to the mall, I picked up these 2 jackets that I always wanted. Like I had tried them on back in January or something but thought they were too much. Then when I decided to go back for them they we all gone, I was so happy to just stumble upon the black one then 2 minutes later another one in khaki randomly placed where I was shopping.
Right now I'm just returning from lunch with ADIENA, KRUST & MERCEDES. We went to BJ's, ugh, what a meal. I'm literally stuffed, so full that I didn't even finish my meal. It's sitting in a little box next to me.
Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day, DARK KNIGHT bright an early, quick visit to MbyMJ, then back to SCOTT&EM's. I'm really happy things turned out this way.
